The Asian Institute of Finance played host to more than 60 corporate leaders from the financial services industry at the Global Economic Outlook 2015 briefing where growth forecast and implications for regional businesses were discussed.
At this session, Dr Bart van Ark, Executive Vice President & Chief Economist of The Conference Board shared highlights from the Global Economic Outlook 2015 report which includes the forecast of moderate improvement for global growth in 2015, primarily driven by mature economies. Dr van Ark also touched on the growth opportunities and risks, particularly in the Asian and China markets as well as implications of a projected slower growth on business leaders.
The briefing was also attended by Dr Raymond Madden, CEO of Asian Institute of Finance and Nicholas Sutcliffe, Executive Director – Asia Pacific of The Conference Board.
