The Asia HRD Congress 2014, Kuala Lumpur

Dr Raymond Madden, CEO of Asian Institute of Finance delivered an insightful presentation to about 150 business leaders and HR practitioners on “The New World of Talent Engagement’ at the recent Asia HRD Congress 2014 held in Kuala Lumpur.

Dr Madden touched on the importance of understanding and managing the expectations of Gen Ys, which is the focus of a recent AIF research initiative entitled “Gen Y in the Workplace: An International Comparison”.  He went on to articulate strategies such as the ‘Talent Game’ which involves moving talent into different roles and in some cases rehiring former employees, as some of the strategies companies may consider adopting in their bid to further attract, engage and connect with the Gen Y workforce.
